IDF Forces Airlift Palestinian Victim to Israeli Hospital

31.07.2015 Earlier today, 31/7/2015, two homes in the village of Duma were set ablaze, killing a Palestinian child and injuring four additional family members. IDF forces transferred the Palestinian victims from a hospital in Nablus to the Sheba Medical Center Hospital in Tel Hashomer for medical treatment.

Bébé palestinien brûlé vif: les Israéliens rassemblés contre les extrémistes

01.08.2015 La société civile israélienne a appelé au rassemblement samedi soir dans plusieurs grandes villes du pays. Plusieurs ONG seront présentes ainsi que des personnalités politiques, telles que le président Reuven Rivlin, à Jérusalem ou Shimon Peres à Tel Aviv. La manifestation était originalement prévue pour dénoncer l'attaque perpétrée jeudi par un juif ultra-orthodoxe lors de la gay-pride à Jérusalem qui a blessé six personnes. Mais le motif de ce rassemblement s'est élargi après le décès d'un bébé palestinien lors de l'incendie de sa maison par des colons en Cisjordanie occupée dans la nuit de jeudi à vendredi et la mort de trois Palestiniens vendredi.

Die Jugendlichen begegnen Menschen im Alter ihrer Urgroßeltern, die die Katastrophe des Holocaust am eigenen Leib erlebt haben. Einer ist der 103 Jahre alte Israel Tsafuir, der noch bei Sigmund Freud studiert hat. Er und viele weitere Deutschstämmige leben mittlerweile in besonderen Altersheimen in Jerusalem und Tel Aviv. Sie genießen die Gespräche mit den jungen Deutschen. Was haben sich Menschen aus so unterschiedlichen Generationen zu erzählen? Wie gehen die jungen Deutschen, die die Zeit des Nationalsozialismus bislang nur aus Büchern kennen, mit den Erzählungen der Alten um? So berichtet etwa der Künstler Jehuda Bacon von seinen Kindheitserinnerungen an den berüchtigten KZ-Arzt Josef Mengele. Die behüteten deutschen Jugendlichen erleben den Alltag in Israel. Wie groß ist ihre Angst vor Anschlägen und Krieg in diesem zerrissenen Land? Regelmäßig hören sie das Schrillen der Sirenen, wenn es wieder Raketenalarm gibt. Dann versammeln sie sich mit den anderen Bewohnern im Treppenhaus ihres Mietshauses, weil der nächste Schutzraum zu weit entfernt ist. Am Ende ihres Israel-Jahres haben Antonia und die anderen jungen Deutschen herzliche und intensive Beziehungen zu Holocaust-Überlebenden geknüpft. Und sie haben erlebt, welch großes Wunder die Versöhnung ist.
